Michael Longfellow is the latest “Saturday Night Live” star leaving the show ahead of Season 51.
Deadline broke the news of Longfellow’s exit from the series Thursday.
The comedian, 31, has yet to confirm his departure himself.
The Post has reached out to “SNL” and Longfellow for comment.
Longfellow joined the NBC sketch comedy program in 2022. He was a featured player on Season 48 and Season 49, before being upped to the main cast for Season 50.
In May, Longfellow joked about his lack of presence on the show’s milestone season.
“I work like 12 hours a week. When you love your job, it never feels like work,” he said on “Weekend Update” alongside Colin Jost, per Deadline. “No, I’m just not in that much stuff this season. It’s fine, I walk around, they don’t really keep tabs on your whereabouts here.”
While speaking to The Entertainer! Magazine in January, Longfellow said he felt a myriad of emotions when he joined the show.
“It was so big,” he said. “There was panic, dread, excitement, numbness. I thought, ‘Shouldn’t I high-five everyone in the area?’ I didn’t know how to feel, so I just sort of got ready for work.”
“But this has been the greatest thing ever,” he added.
Longfellow also named the stars that he enjoyed working with the most.
“Martin Short is my favorite host ever,” he said. “If I can just be like him down the line, that would be amazing. Jon Lovitz was a good host. I just wanted to say hi, and he talked to me for about 30 minutes about how to do the show, in his ‘Lovitz’ voice.”
“Dana Carvey. Dana will just talk — not even just about comedy,” Longfellow continued. “We were talking about political stuff and I was asking him for financial advice. He would talk about anything.”
Longfellow’s former co-stars Devon Walker and Emil Wakim also announced their exits from the show this week.
