Millie Bobby Brown hinted at David Harbour drama in resurfaced interview

Millie Bobby Brown alluded to her alleged feud with her “Stranger Things” co-star David Harbour over a year before it made headlines.

Following reports that Brown, 21, accused Harbour, 51, of harassment and bullying on the set of the Netflix series, an interview from 2024 resurfaced in which Brown was asked about her co-star’s possible involvement in her wedding to Jake Bongiovi.

During her March 2024 chat with MTV, reporter Josh Horowitz joked to Brown that the wedding — which took place two months later — should be “Stranger Things”-themed.

“Harbour is officiating,” Horowitz said to the actress.

“Yes,” Brown reluctantly responded as she squinted her eyes.

“I don’t know how I feel [about that]. Sure,” the “Enola Holmes” actress awkwardly added.

Brown then declared that her officiant should be Matthew Modine, who plays Martin Brenner, her character Eleven’s father figure, in “Stranger Things.”

“He’s my fake dad,” Brown added of Modine, 66.

“The second Jake proposed, I said, ‘I know who needs to marry us. It’s my papa,’” she said on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” earlier this year, referring to Modine.

Brown also described her wedding to Jon Bon Jovi’s son as “perfect,” adding, “When I went down the aisle, everything became so real and pure, and nothing about that was like a production. It felt so beautiful and the most meaningful thing i’ve ever done in my life.”

Over the weekend, the Daily Mail reported that Brown allegedly filed a complaint about Harbour before filming the fifth and final season of their hit Netflix show.

“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season,” a source told the outlet. “There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”

Harbour — who plays Eleven’s other father figure, police chief Jim Hopper Jr., in the show — reportedly faced an internal investigation over Brown’s claims, though the outcome of the inquiry is still unknown.

Additionally, Brown allegedly filmed the series finale accompanied by a personal representative on set.

Harbour previously opened up about the “deep fatherly affection” he has for Brown on an episode of the “That Scene with Dan Patrick” podcast in 2021.

“Millie and I have always had sort of a special relationship because I knew her when she was so young. I knew her before any of this big fame hit,” the “Thunderbolts*” actor explained.

“I have a real protective feeling for her. I have a real, like, worry,” Harbour continued. “I worry about her and the fame and all that she has to struggle with.”

Harbour is also currently in hot water for his relationship with estranged wife Lily Allen.

The British singer, 40, called out Harbour’s rumored infidelity on her newly released album, “West End Girl,” which she recorded around the same time that the exes separated after four years of marriage.

Harbour has not publicly reacted to the album and affair claims.
