A 15-year-old girl who went missing earlier this week in South Jersey is in danger, police said Wednesday in an alert.
Brianna Hedgepeth left her family’s home in Sicklerville around 1:30 a.m. Monday, Gloucester Township police wrote in a Facebook post. Relatives reported her missing immediately afterward.
Her last known whereabouts were near the neighborhoods of Clementon and Erial around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, cops said.
Brianna is described as “a light-skinned Black female, brown eyes, brown hair” who stands about 5-foot-3 and weighs around 200 pounds. She was last seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and light-colored pants, police said.
Anyone who spots Brianna is advised to call 911 or the Gloucester Township Police Department at 856-228-4500. People can also submit tips online at gtpolice.com/tips.
Brianna is not the only teen girl to disappear in Sicklerville this year. Layla Sills, 14 was last seen on June 25 in Philadelphia and has not been spotted since, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. Sicklerville lies about 20 miles south of Philly and has around 45,000 residents.
Last summer, two other teen girls in the town were also reported missing. Zadia Kharfan, 16, went missing on Aug. 8, 2024, and Nicolette Marchetti, 17, was last seen on Aug. 17, 2024, according to reports.
