Three “very significant” new leads from the investigation into Amy Bradley, whose baffling 1998 disappearance from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship was the subject of a recent Netflix docuseries, suggest the missing woman could still be alive.
One of those new leads allegedly comes from one of the ship’s female bartenders, who came forward following the doc’s July 2025 release, an unnamed source close to the production of “Amy Bradley Is Missing” told The Hollywood Reporter.
Officials are said to be interviewing the bartender, who has reportedly lent credence to the theory that Bradly was kidnapped.
Years of reported sightings of Bradley — who was 23 when she was last seen before the ship docked in Curaçao — as well as unsettling behavior from at least one crew member, have led many to believe that she was abducted onboard and ultimately trafficked.
The insider told THR that security at the time dismissed the bartender’s cries of “Señorita kidnapped!” in her limited English.
Among the evidence that Bradley might still be alive was the doc’s revelation that an IP address has often logged onto a missing-persons website about Bradley during American holidays or other dates significant to the family. The source said there has also been a new “highly suspicious” hit to that site, which is being professionally monitored for activity.
Some in series believe that Bradley’s potential kidnappers could be using the site to keep tabs on the investigation, while others think Bradley herself may be using it as a way to feel close to her family.
If she indeed is the one logging on to the site, she might have reason for not contacting her loved ones directly — such as a child resulting from her being forced into sex work, THR’s source suggested. New information, though vague, points to such a possibility, they said.
In addition, the FBI not only has a new agent on the case, in the wake of the Netflix series, but has interviewed someone who reported seeing Bradley in Barbados.
Both the bureau and the Bradley family’s private investigators are currently in Curaçao “and other surrounding countries,” according to the source.
Per the FBI’s Missing Persons poster, the Virginia native, who would now be 51 years old, stood at 5-foot-6 and had multiple distinctive tattoos: a Tasmanian Devil spinning a basketball on her shoulder, the sun on her lower back, a Chinese symbol on her right ankle and a gecko lizard on her belly button.
Anyone with information about Bradley is asked to contact their local FBI office, the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.
