Moped rider, 25, dies after crashing into 2 vehicles in Brooklyn intersection



A 25-year-old man riding a moped was killed when he crashed into two vehicles at a Brooklyn intersection, police said Wednesday.

The victim was zipping east on Myrtle Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant when he collided with a Subaru heading north on Bedford Ave. about 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, cops said.

He was thrown by the impact from his 2022 Yiben moped and slammed into a Nissan heading north on Bedford Ave., cops said.

Medics rushed the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released.

The drivers of the Subaru, a 51-year-old man, and the Nissan, a 23-year-old man, were not hurt and remained at the scene.

No charges were filed as police continue to investigate.
