A motorcyclist was fatally struck Saturday morning in a collision with a BMW driver in Queens.
The 42-year-old driver of the black BMW SUV was traveling south around 9:22 a.m. on 60th Drive and Woodhaven Blvd. in Rego Park when he collided with a motorcycle rider traveling in the same direction. Both vehicles caught on fire, with only the car driver surviving the collision, cops said.
EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the unidentified motorcycle rider dead at the scene. The BMW driver was transported to Long Island Jewish Medical Center where he was in stable condition.
There were no arrests in the crash and police are still investigating the accident.
