Motorcyclist, Mercedes passenger killed in Brooklyn parkway hit-run crash


A motorcyclist and a passenger in a Mercedes-Benz were killed in a high-speed hit-and-run crash on a Brooklyn parkway, police said Monday.

The motorcyclist and the Mercedes driver had just exited the Belt Parkway when they crashed into each other on Shore Parkway near E. 7th St. in Sheepshead Bay about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, cops said.

The impact sent the Mercedes flying as it flipped over and landed on its roof, the car’s airbags deploying.

The motorcycle and Mercedes struck three unoccupied parked cars after hitting each other.

A 28yr old man riding as a passenger in a white Mercedes Benz being operated by an unknown, unidentified male, traveling westbound on the Belt Parkway, and a 22yr old man operating a motorcycle in the same direction, were both pronounced dead at NYU Langone Lutheran Medical Center after both operators exited the Parkway at an apparent high rate of speed before driving over the median and through a fence before smashing into three parked and unoccupied cars on Shore Parkway at East 7th Street in Brooklyn on Sunday Oct. 19, 2025. 2333. Medics rushed the 22-year-old motorcyclist and 28-year-old Mercedes passenger to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where both men died. Their names were not immediately released.

The Mercedes driver abandoned his vehicle, ran off and has not been caught, cops said.
