MTA trackworker slashed in neck by trespasser walking Brooklyn subway tracks

An MTA trackworker was slashed in the neck by a drunk trespasser in a Brooklyn subway tunnel, police said Tuesday.

The 64-year-old victim was working on the third rail between the Nostrand Ave. and Franklin Ave. No. 3 stations in Crown Heights when he encountered a man walking on the tracks.

The worker stopped the man, telling him he shouldn’t be on the tracks, and tried to get him back to safety, sparking an argument, cops said.

As the spat escalated, the drunken trespasser pulled out a blade and slashed the worker in the neck before running off.

Medics took the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he’s expected to recover.

Cops were sent into the transit system looking for the slasher but he has not been caught.

Police were scouring the area for surveillance footage in the hope of finding where the suspect exited the train system.
