Netanyahu meeting with Trump at White House to discuss Iran, Gaza peace process


Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office to discuss issues related to Iran and the Gaza peace process.

Netanyahu arrived through the side entrance to the West Wing and the meeting currently is scheduled to remain closed to the press.

The Israeli leader was among the regional US allies who requested last month that Trump hold off possible punitive airstrikes against Iran after the mass killing of protesters — citing a need to beef up his country’s defenses.
