New Edition is getting a little help from their friends.
Starting in January, the new jack swing vets will take off on their nationwide ‘New Edition Way Tour’ with high-profile special guests Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton.
While on the road, the R&B heavyweights — who have never toured together over the course of their storied careers — are slated to make a pair of Tri-state stops.
First, they’ll swing into Newark’s Prudential Center on Friday, Feb. 13. Then, a little more than a month later, the co-headliners hit Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on March 14.
“This is history,” Boyz II Men shared via Instagram. “…here’s the vision. All three of us on the same stage every night. Not taking turns. Actually performing together…an original music experience.”
These concerts are an effort for New Edition to do “something bigger and better” and “go to the next level” after wrapping their successful 2024-25 Las Vegas residency.
Although we’re not entirely sure what these star-studded shows will entail, we’d guess the group’s biggest hits like New Edition’s “Candy Girl,” “Can You Stand The Rain” and “If It Isn’t Love” as well as Boyz II Men’s “End Of The Road,” “On Bended Knee” and “One Sweet Day” with Toni Braxton’s “Un-Break My Heart,” “He Wasn’t Man Enough” and “You’re Makin’ Me High” thrown in for good measure.

The catalog is the fireworks,” Level Man noted in their glowing review of New Edition’s Sin City residency. “Lyrics explode from their mic and turn the venue into karaoke because their people, both men and women, know their material no matter what era of the NE canon is being explored.”
