RAIDERS at BRONCOS
8:15 p.m., Broncos by 9 ½, 42 ½
HANK’S HONEYS: There’s only one way we can go with this one. The Raiders have been getting crushed by quality opponents with a 31-point loss to the Chiefs and a 34-point loss against the Colts. What’s more, the Raiders lost twice by double digits to Denver a season ago. The Broncos have been cruising at home with straight SU wins while the Raiders are traveling on a short week after playing a full overtime game. Then there are the matchups, with the Broncos owning almost all of them. The Las Vegas offense has come down to Geno Smith trying to find tight end Brock Bowers because his WR corps is thin (now that Jakobi Meyers has been traded) and he has no running game. The Raiders’ O-line, among the worst in the NFL, should be caved in by Denver’s elite front with Smith harassed any time it’s third and long. It’s not much better on the other side of the ball. Even with Maxx Crosby in their lineup, the Raiders can’t get close to the quarterback. Bo Nix should have his way with that secondary. Not expecting many points from the Vegas offense, it’s an under bet as well.
IF I WERE A BETTING MAN: Broncos and the under.
