Nicolas Maduro and wife, Cilia Flores, injured themselves trying to evade capture: Trump officials

Trump administration officials told congressional lawmakers on Monday that deposed Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, injured themselves trying to evade capture.

Maduro and Flores both suffered “minor injuries related to their own actions,” a source familiar told The Post.

The sources added that Flores began cursing in Spanish after she was injured.

The bumbling couple reportedly ran and attempted to hide behind a heavy steel door inside their compound as Delta Force operators neared – but they slammed their heads on the low door frame, according to CNN
