New details have emerged about Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s sudden split.
The “Babygirl” star, who filed for divorce from the country crooner in Nashville, Tennessee, on Tuesday, is said to feel “very betrayed” by Urban after their 19 years of marriage together.
“Nicole’s hurt and feels betrayed,” an insider close to the former couple told People. “It’s devastating to her. She’s shocked.”
The “You’ll Think of Me” singer, meanwhile, has reportedly “been going through some stuff” in recent months.
“He has been making questionable choices for some time now, and this was not the case of them just drifting apart,” another source told the outlet. “For those around him, this has felt more like a gradual drift than some big shocking break.”
The Post confirmed the news of Kidman and Urban’s separation on Monday, one day before the Oscar winner filed for divorce and three months after they were last seen in public together.
Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, reportedly separated in June and have been living apart ever since.
Sources claim the Grammy winner initiated the split and moved out of their family home in Nashville, while the “Big Little Lies” star attempted to save the crumbling relationship.
The former “American Idol” judge is already rumored to be seeing another woman, although it’s unclear if he moved on before or after leaving Kidman.
“All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman,” an insider claimed to TMZ. “Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”
“It’s all over Nashville,” a second source shared.
While Kidman and Urban’s split came as a surprise to fans, those closest to the former couple reportedly admitted the separation “really hasn’t been a secret” to their inner circle.
“People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable,” an insider said Monday, adding that the exes have “been living separately for a while now.”
Kidman ultimately filed for divorce from Urban in Davidson County on Tuesday.
Court documents obtained by The Post revealed that the actress cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She listed the pair’s date of separation as “date of filing,” which was Sept. 30.
Kidman seeks to be the “primary residential parent” for her and Urban’s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, and is anticipating that both parties enter into a Marital Dissolution Agreement and an Agreed Permanent Parenting Plan.
As for the parenting plan, it reportedly states that Sunday and Faith will spend 306 days with their mom and 59 days with their dad, per TMZ. All major decisions involving the kids, meanwhile, will be made jointly.
Kidman added that she wants the court to make sure her and Urban’s agreement “makes adequate and sufficient provisions” for their assets and debts and that the parenting plan “provides for the care” of their minor kids and any “specific relief to which wife may be entitled.”
The “Perfect Strangers” star and former “Voice” judge both allegedly waived any spousal support and child support obligations, and they will reportedly each retain their own assets.
The Post reached out to Kidman and Urban’s reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back.
