There are no big little lies here.
Nicole Kidman recently opened up about her marriage to husband Keith Urban, who she tied the knot with in 2006.
The “Babygirl” star, 57, who shares daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13, with the singer, also 57, revealed the secret to their bliss is quite simple.
When asked if she sings in the shower, Kidman said to W Magazine in an interview published Friday, “I do.”
“I also hear Keith singing in the shower, and I’ll hear his new songs forming,” she confessed. “We have a double shower. The double-headed shower: key to a successful marriage. Separate commodes and a double-headed shower!”
The couple married at St. Patrick’s Estate in the beachside suburb of Manly in Sydney in June 2006. Two years later, Kidman and Urban welcomed Sunday with Faith following in 2010.
Kidman told the outlet that she has saved all of her red carpet dresses to pass down to her daughters, noting they are “beautifully boxed.”
“They raid my wardrobe all the time. I’m like, ‘Okay, what’s mine is yours,’” the star explained. “But I don’t raid their closet, even though I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s cute.’ But I’m not allowed to take anything. It’s a one-way exchange.”
Kidman’s close bond with her children doesn’t come as a surprise, as the “Moulin Rouge!” alum has previously gushed about the importance of her family and how she maintains the work-life balance.
In a 2019 interview with InStyle, Kidman — who also shares adopted daughter Bella, 31, and son Connor, 29, with ex-husband Tom Cruise — said being at home is “very nourishing” as she prefers time with her husband and children to a “girls’ weekend” unlike others.
“The greatest thing our family priest told us very early on in our marriage was, ‘Always kiss hello and kiss goodbye.’ It just keeps you connected,” she added.
And this past year was an important one for Kidman’s family, as she and the country icon’s eldest daughter made her runway debut.
Sunday walked in the Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2025 Paris fashion week show in October and took a moment to gush over the dream come true.
“My name is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban,” the teenager said in a thick southern accent in an Instagram video posted by Vogue at the time. “And this is my first show.”
“We’re at the Miu Miu show in Paris,” Sunday continued. “We did some shopping because how can you not come to Paris and not shop!”
Explaining how this opportunity came about, the runway model shared, “I’ve been wanting to do this for so long so when the offer came through it was really exciting and now the day is finally here.”
Two months prior to Sunday’s runway debut, Kidman spoke with Victoria Beckham about her mini-me.
“She’s about to turn 16,” the Oscar winner told her friend during an interview with Vogue Australia in August. “That’s what I told her, when she was 16 she was allowed to come to a show. She’s wanted to go for a long time.”
Kidman continued, “That was her foray into it, and that was it. I’m like, ‘No, no more.’ It’s a push-pull. I don’t want to hold her back because I don’t want to be coddling her.”
