An influencer insists she deserves credit for bringing “your English teacher and your gym teacher” together.
“Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged, and I think I’m responsible,” New Jersey mom Kristina Zias declared in a video posted Tuesday — the same day the power couple shared their engagement news — on her TikTok page.
“Well, kind of. Watch this.”
Zias, 37, a plus-size model and stylist who also appears as a fashion expert on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” posted her AfterBuzz TV interview with Kelce in 2006 — where she asked the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to play “Kill, Marry, Kiss” — and gave him three pop stars as options — Swift, Katy Perry and Ariana Grande.
“Damn, that’s messed up, I don’t wanna kill any of them,” Kelce told her, then proceeded to make his draft picks.
“Ariana is kill, unfortunately. Love you, but you’re gone. And then Taylor Swift would be the kiss and then Katy Perry would be the marry.”
Zias noted that Swift referenced the interview in one of her songs — by playing the lyric from 2024’s “So High School” — “Are you gonna marry, kiss or kill me?”
TikTokers hailed Zias for her matchmaking skills, with accolades like, “Girl you manifested this for them!” and “You literally made this happen.”
Others insisted she serve as the maid of honor at the Kelce-Swift wedding — or at least get an invitation.
“You ABSOLUTELY have to be there! (Can I be your +1?)” one asked.
On Wednesday, Zias followed up with another post that read, “Me waiting for the entire world to realize I’m the person that interviewed Travis Kelce and started his and Taylor’s love story.”
That post has collected 2.9 million views and over 1,400 comments calling her “a national hero” and “doing the lord’s work.”
