NJ pedestrian hit by northbound, then southbound vehicles



A 63-year-old pedestrian was tossed across Route 440 by a northbound SUV before being struck by a southbound vehicle in New Jersey over the weekend.

State Police said Porfirio Soriano-Luna of Perth Amboy was killed in the Saturday crash in Woodbridge, NJ.Com report. The southbound vehicle reportedly didn’t stop.

The SUV driver was said to have suffered minor injuries in the 9 p.m. incident. The victim’s death is under investigation.

One Facebook user from Perth Amboy who said she witnessed the aftermath of the crash described a macabre scene.

“People were getting out of the cars and taking pictures of the accident,” she said.
