No injuries in Virginia Giuffre’s ‘minor crash’: cops

Australian officials said there were “no reported injuries” in a car crash believed to have involved Virginia Giuffre, one of the women who accused Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse.

Giuffre, one of the most prominent victims of the disgraced Hollywood mogul, shared on social media Sunday that she had “gone into kidney renal failure” following a serious car crash involving a school bus.

According to the American-Australian mother of three, her car was hit by a bus “driving 110km” (68 mph) as she was slowing to take a turn.

“[Doctors] have given me four days to live [and are] transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology,” she wrote in an Instagram post. She also shared a photo of her severely bruised face in what appears to be a hospital bed.

She added she was “ready to go,” but still wanted to “see [her] babies one last time.”

Giuffre, who lives in Perth, on Australia’s southwestern coast, didn’t say where the crash occurred.

A source familiar with the matter told CNN that the 41-year-old is currently being treated at a hospital in Perth, but added that her injuries were not life-threatening.

The Western Australia Police Force confirmed a “minor crash” involving a bus and a car in a rural area north of Perth on March 24 just after 3 p.m.

On Tuesday, Acting Police Commissioner Kylie Whitely told reporters at a press conference that a 71-year-old woman was driving the car and a 41-year-old woman was in the passenger seat, ABC News Australia reported.

Authorities have not confirmed if the incident was the one mentioned by Giuffre.

Earlier on Tuesday, her spokesperson Dini von Mueffling told the BBC that Giuffre was being treated at a hospital following a “serious accident.”

Just days before the alleged crash, Giuffre took to social media to say she missed her kids “so very much” in an emotional post that hinted at a familiar dispute.

“My beautiful babies have no clue how much I love them and they’re being poisoned with lies,” she wrote on Instagram. “Hurt me, abuse me but don’t take my babies. My heart is shattered and every day that passes my sadness only deepens.”

According to the BBC, recent reports suggest Giuffre and her husband of 22 years may have ended their marriage.
