For the love of God… talk about an unholy hookup.
An NYPD chaplain was busted in the Bronx and charged with patronizing prostitution, cops said Friday.
Father Michael Eguino, 40, was arrested in the Bronx at 11:23 a.m. on Friday and charged with patronizing prostitution, police said.
He was not on duty at the time.
Eguino has been an NYPD chaplain since August 2021. In addition to providing spiritual guidance to members of the Police Department, Eguino is the pastor at The Church of St. Anselm and St. Roch in the Bronx.
According to his Chaplains Unit biography, “in his spare time, he enjoys fishing, traveling, strategy games, playing sports and is a fan of the Yankees, Knicks and Jets.”
