NYPD cops shoot man to death after he invades Brooklyn precinct stationhouse, slashes officer

NYPD cops shot a man to death after he tried to get inside a Brooklyn precinct stationhouse early Sunday and slashed an officer in the face for stopping him, police sources said.

The slasher tried to get into the 73rd Precinct stationhouse on East New York Ave. and Amboy St. in Brownsville through a back entrance about 5:30 a.m. Sunday, the sources said. When a uniformed officer stopped him, he slashed the cop in her face.

Two officers then chased the man and shot him dead outside the stationhouse, the sources said. His name was not immediately released.

It’s not clear if the slashed officer was one of the cops who opened fire. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
