Police are searching for a man wanted in the death of his ex-girlfriend and for wounding her uncle in a horrifying Queens shooting last month, NYPD sources said Monday.
Kevin Rodriguez, 33, confronted his 32-year-old ex-flame, Jennifer Navarrete, and her 49-year-old uncle at her house on 14th Road near 119th st. in College Point around 1:15 a.m. Dec. 16, they said.
Rodriguez shot Navarrete in the head and her uncle in the arm and back, cops charge. The woman died at the scene and her uncle made his way to Flushing Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police on Monday released photos of Rodriguez in the hope someone may be able to help them track him down.
He is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and about 210 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.
