NYPD shoots man in Brooklyn while responding to domestic incident



Police shot a man while responding to a domestic incident in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, sources said.

Answering a 911 call, cops rushed to the Glenmore Plaza Houses, a New York City Housing Authority complex, near Christopher and Glenmore Aves. in Brownsville, around 2:57 p.m., where they shot a man in a 16th-floor apartment, sources said.

No police officers were shot.

Officers were reportedly alerted by the 911 caller that the suspect was her child’s father, that he was heading over to the apartment building and that he was known to carry a gun, sources said.

The condition of the man who was shot was not immediately known.

No officers were injured in the incident.
