Police are looking for a man who punched an on-duty NYPD traffic agent in Manhattan on Friday afternoon, cops said.
The unidentified attacker, who wore an Orlando Magic cap, a blue hoodie and blue jogging pants, punched the 56-year-old traffic agent in the face around 3:45 p.m. near Seventh Ave. South and Grove St. in Greenwich Village. The suspect then took off southbound in a car fleeing down Seventh Ave. South, cops said.
The traffic agent was not hospitalized and sustained minor injuries.
It remained unclear what sparked the assault.
