An off-duty city correction officer drunkenly crashed into a marked NYPD vehicle and a taxi in East Harlem, according to cops.
LeShelle Hallett, 34, was driving a black 2020 Infiniti on Third Ave. near 120th St. when she tried to pass both vehicles, sideswiping them in the process, according to a criminal complaint.
She kept going uptown on Third Ave. until police stopped her, the complaint alleges.
“I haven’t had enough to not know how to drive, unlike them,” she said to the officer who arrested her, apparently referring to the other drivers, the complaint alleges.
A test put her blood alcohol level at .207% — more than 2½ times the legal threshold for driving while intoxicated, the complaint alleges.
Hallett was arraigned Sunday in Manhattan Criminal Court on charges including leaving the scene of a crash and aggravated driving while intoxicated. She was released without bail.
Her lawyer could not immediately be reached for comment Sunday, and the Correction Department did not immediately answer a request for comment.
