Organized Crime’ Season 5 on Peacock

New network, same detective.

“Law & Order: Organized Crime” is back for a fifth season, but instead of airing on NBC’s “Law & Order” Thursday block with the rest of the “L&O” franchise, the series will stream exclusively on Peacock.

Christopher Meloni reprises his “SVU” role of Detective Elliot Stabler in “Law & Order: Organized Crime.” Stabler is the lead detective for the Organized Crime Control Bureau that will explore “the dangerous worlds of cross-border smuggling, high-tech domestic terrorism and a crime family intent on repaying Stabler for the injury he did them in Rome” during the new season, per an NBC release.

Part of a storied franchise, “Organized Crime” has featured in multiple crossovers with “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” and the move to Peacock likely won’t affect those. The Season 5 premiere is one piece of a three-part crossover and it’s likely familiar faces will show up on “Organized Crime” as the season continues on.
