After almost a decade together, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom went their separate ways in July.
Now, the actor, 48, is opening up about where he and his ex-fiancée stand.
“There’s been some personal changes in your life since you were here the last time. How are you doing?” Craig Melvin asked Bloom during his “Today” interview on Friday.
“I’m great, man. I’m so grateful,” the “Cut” star responded before noting their daughter Daisy, 5.
“We have the most beautiful daughter. You know when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie? I feel grateful for all of it.”
He added, “And we’re great. We’re going to be great. Nothing but love.”
Perry, 40, and Bloom announced their separation in a joint statement via their reps on July 3, but only after rumors circulated that they had ended their six-year engagement.
“Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,” the spokespeople told Us Weekly.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
Sources previously claimed that the longtime couple had separated, but were “amicable.”
At the time, an insider told Us Weekly their breakup was “a long time coming” and that things had “been tense for months.”
They shared that while Perry was “upset” about their split, she was “relieved to not have to go through another divorce,” adding that the end of her marriage to Russell Brand “was the worst time in her life.”
The “Roar” singer married the English comedian in 2010. He filed for divorce in December 2011.
