The Osbournes are going through it in the wake of Ozzy Osbourne’s death.
Along with grieving the loss of the legendary rocker, Sharon Osbourne and her children are dealing with crazed fans who have an extreme attachment to Ozzy — including one woman who believes she’s his daughter.
“We’ve had quite a few nutters coming out of the woodwork saying that they’re speaking to dad from the grave,” Ozzy’s real daughter, Kelly Osbourne, said on the latest episode of “The Osbournes Podcast.”
“We had one lady send us her toenails,” Sharon, 73, revealed, as Kelly, 41, told her brother, Jack Osbourne, “Oh my God, you missed this. It was a toenail.”
“Did you chew on them?” Ozzy’s 40-year-old son jokingly asked.
“Some blood, hair, because she’s absolutely convinced that she is dad’s child,” Kelly explained, as Sharon interjected, “Her mom told her.”
Jack then added, “So we need to do a DNA test. Is that why she sent it? Oh, this is so exciting. We have a new sibling.”
Kelly, who called the woman’s behavior “nuts” and “insane,” also admitted that she’s “bothered” by the fans who are telling the family they’re talking to Ozzy from the grave.
“I think it’s severely inappropriate,” Kelly said.
But Sharon told her youngest daughter she’s “got to realize” that the bizarre fan encounters are something they just have to deal with.
“There’s always a group of people — the fanatics, the nutters, the this — that will always come out,” Sharon stated. “And, you know, it’s life, unfortunately. But you just move on.”
Jack, for his part, pointed out that people “are deeply affected” by Ozzy’s death.
“I’d see messages and people were like, ‘I never thought I would feel this way about someone I didn’t know dying,’ celebrity musician or whatever,” Jack shared.
“I think people are genuinely feeling this void, and they’re just like, ‘Holy s–t, this guy’s gone.’”
Sharon compared her husband’s passing to actor Robin Williams’ death, telling her kids, “People adored him. You didn’t have to like his movies or whatever. He was one of these people you just warm to — and your dad was the same.”
“Dad was one of those charismatic people that people were just drawn to,” Sharon added of her late spouse. “He was so special.”
Ozzy died at age 76 on July 22.
His cause of death was later determined to be from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease.
The Black Sabbath frontman shared Kelly, Jack and rarely-seen daughter Aimee, 42, with Sharon. He had three additional children — Jessica, 52, Louis, 50, and Elliot Kingsley, 59 — from his marriage to ex-wife Thelma Riley.
On “The Osbournes Podcast,” Jack said that “everyone got to have their time” with Ozzy before he died.
When Kelly tearfully shared that she “just wanted more time” with Ozzy, her mom consoled her.
“You’re always gonna want more time. And this is a huge example for our little family. Time is so precious,” Sharon said. “And don’t waste time with anyone. It’s like we always used to say, Daddy and I would say, ‘You can’t buy time.’ If only.”
