Ozzy Osbourne’s final words to Sharon before his death revealed

Sharon Osbourne was by Ozzy Osbourne’s side until the very end.

The former talk show host, 73, is recalling her late husband’s last moments, months after he died at age 76 in July.

“He was up and down to the bathroom all night, and it was like 4:30 a.m., and he said, ‘Wake up.’ I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up,’” Sharon said during her Wednesday appearance on “Piers Morgan Uncensored.”

“And he said, ‘Kiss me,” Ozzy’s wife of 43 years shared. “And then he said, ‘Hug me tight.’”

“I can’t help wondering if I should have, could I have? If only I’d have told him I loved him more. If only I’d have held him tighter. And he went downstairs, worked out for 20 minutes and passed away.”

The matriarch said she screamed after discovering the Prince of Darkness slumped over in their home gym.

Despite various health issues, Ozzy wanted to get an early morning workout session in.

According to Sharon, the rock icon typically did 90 minutes a day on the cross-trainer.

That day, she heard yelling from the gym and went down to see what had happened.

“He had a heart attack,” Sharon told Morgan, 60. “I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I’m like, ‘Don’t — just leave him. Leave him. You can’t. He’s gone.’”

“I knew instantly he’d gone,” she added. “And they tried and tried, and then they took him by helicopter to the hospital and they tried, and it’s like, ‘He’s gone. Just leave him.’”

Sharon also admitted that Ozzy knew the end of his life was near.

“He had told me that he was having dreams in the last week of his life. He was seeing people that he never knew,” she explained.

“I said, ‘Well, what kind of people?’ He goes, ‘All different people. And I just keep walking and walking, and I’m seeing all these different people every night, and I go back there and I’m looking at these people, and they’re looking at me, and nobody’s talking,’” continued Sharon. “And he knew. He was ready.”

According to the reality star, a doctor told the musician that if he performed his final Black Sabbath show, he “wouldn’t get through it.”

Despite doctor’s orders, Ozzy went through with the concert anyways.

“He was in so much pain, so much pain. And I mean, you know, he had pneumonia three times this year. He’d had sepsis. That’s what really, really destroyed him.”

“He was on these shots of antibiotics. It used to take 20 minutes for the shot to go in, and he had that twice a day, and it kills everything in you, the good, the bad, everything,” added Sharon. “So much antibiotics, and he just couldn’t get over that. He just couldn’t.”

Ultimately, doing the show was the right choice for Ozzy.

“He was so happy afterwards. He kept looking at the papers, and he goes to me, ‘I never knew so many people liked me’, but that was the way he was,” Sharon said. “I mean, he knew he was famous, but not the amount that people loved him. It’s a whole different thing, and he was just so happy, so so happy.”

And during his last weeks, every day was “like sunshine.”

“[He was] Really, really happy, yeah, so happy — happier than we’d seen him in seven years,” she gushed.

Sharon told Morgan that she will never marry again, stating through tears, “That’s it for now.”

The longtime couple tied the knot in 1982 and shared kids: Aimee, 42, Kelly, 41 and Jack, 40.

Sharon’s talk show appearance comes days after she paid tribute to Ozzy on what would have been his 77th birthday.

“My darling husband, I celebrate the day you were born. I will never let go of your hand until I see you on the other side,” she penned on Instagram beneath a video of a flower tribute to Ozzy.

Ozzy’s family announced his passing on July 22. His cause of death was later determined to be from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” they said in a statement to The Post. “He was his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.”

The insider added: “Ozzy wanted his final place of rest to be at home and he is buried at a beautiful point on the lake.”

Two weeks prior to his death, on July 5, Ozzy performed at Black Sabbath’s “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert in Birmingham.
