Thousands of fans of Black Sabbath crowded the streets to honor the Prince of Darkness one last time during a funeral procession in Ozzy Osbourne’s hometown of Birmingham, England on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. The hearse carrying Osbourne’s casket, followed by his family who paid for the processional, travelled along Broad Street to the Black Sabbath bench on the Broad Street canal bridge. Birmingham, known as the ‘home of metal,’ was where the band formed back in 1968.
