In Paige DeSorbo‘s house, the online chatter is seen.
After the “Summer House” star, 32, and Craig Conover, 35, split after three years of dating, fans took to social media to share their sadness.
And yes, DeSorbo has seen the heart-broken fandom. In one TikTok, a social media user posted a clip of her sister processing the news.
“My sister experiencing all 5 stages of grief over Craig & Paige’s breakup,” the person wrote on the clip, captioning the post, “It’s been a rough morning in our house.”
DeSorbo replied in the comments section: “I needed to laugh and this was perfect thank you.”
A second video saw a TikTok user’s boyfriend giving his two cents on the Bravo stars’ split.
“My boyfriend drunk ranting about Paige & Craig’s breakup,” she wrote on the TikTok, to which DeSorbo responded, “We love a gossip king.”
Along with opening up about the fashion influencer and the Sewing Down South founder’s relationship ending, others shared their theories on why the exes went their separate ways in the first place.
One TikToker suggested that DeSorbo “ruined” a proposal Conover had planned, to which DeSorbo noted beneath the footage, “I’m obsessed with all of this fan fiction.”
But DeSorbo isn’t as obsessed with the ones who say she should have left New York City to move to Charleston to “start settling down.”
“May friends like this never find me,” the podcaster exclaimed.
Fans, meanwhile, weren’t the only ones affected by the split. Jon Hamm took a moment to reflect on the year’s end breakup on live television.
The actor, 53, appeared on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live” on Tuesday, telling hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper, “I gotta pour one out for Craig and Paige. My goodness. The end of an era. Geez. Who’da thunk it?”
DeSorbo announced that she and the “Southern Charm” vet had split after three years of dating on the Monday episode of her and Hannah Berner’s “Giggly Squad” podcast.
“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” DeSorbo told listeners. “I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
She added, “It’s weird, it’s very weird. I wasn’t expecting this. Obviously, when we first started dating, you don’t think, ‘Oh, what will happen? Will we get married, will we not?’ You’re just kind of like in this relationship.”
Conover has yet to comment on the breakup, but the news comes after weeks of social media speculation that the pair got engaged over the holidays.
“Craig was ready for the next steps and had plans to propose to Paige,” an insider claimed to Us Weekly. “He was really pushing for the next steps and wanted to settle down with her.”
