Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are dating, ‘smitten’ with each other

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson aren’t just playing lovers in their new movie, they’re apparently a couple in real-life, according to a close source.

“It’s a budding romance in the early stages,” an unidentified insider told People about the actors, who’ve been making the rounds on their press tour for “The Naked Gun” sequel.

The 73-year-old “Taken” star and 58-year-old “Baywatch” alum are reportedly “enjoying each other’s company” and are clearly “smitten with each other,” the source said.

While there’s been no official confirmation from either of their reps, both Hollywood stars were joined by their adult sons on the red carpet at the movie’s premiere in New York City on Monday.

On Tuesday morning’s episode of “Today,” Anderson and Neeson pretended to get caught making out on live TV to play up on the romance rumors, prompting co-host Craig Melvin to ask if the two are a couple.

“What? I don’t understand the question,” Anderson coyly replied.

Leeson went on to explain that he’d never met Anderson prior to stepping on the set of their film, but quickly discovered they had “a lovely, budding chemistry, as two actors.”

The Oscar-nominated action star previously spoke about his admiration for Anderson in an interview with People last year.

“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” he told the magazine. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with.”

The pair first fueled romance rumors earlier this month at the movie’s London premiere when they were seen holding hands on the red carpet. At one point, Anderson reached up to give Neeson an affectionate kiss on the cheek.

Neeson hasn’t been romantically linked, at least publicly, to anyone since the death of his wife, Tony-winning actress Natasha Richardson. The two were married from 1994 until 2009, when she died after suffering a severe head injury in a skiing accident in Quebec.

Anderson has meanwhile been married five times: first to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee (1995-98), then briefly to Kid Rock (2006), twice to pro poker player Rick Salomon (2007-08 and 2014-15), and finally to her former bodyguard Dan Hayhurst (2020-22).
