Paris Hilton documented her return to her Malibu beach house which has been “reduced to ashes” in the aftermath of the horrific Los Angeles fires that ripped through the surrounding celebrity-packed area.
Hilton walked through the destruction of the $8.4 million home on Thursday as she reflected on her loss, which left her feeling like “my heart has shattered into a million pieces.”
“I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable,” she wrote on Instagram.
“When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock — I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces 😢💔.”
The heiress and entrepreneur watched in horror as her plush property, which she snapped up in 2021, burned “to the ground on live TV” on Wednesday.
Hilton, 43, said the property “wasn’t just a place to live — it was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family.”
“It was where Phoenix’s little hands made art that I’ll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it reduced to ashes… it’s devastating beyond words 💔,” she said, referring to her 1-year-old son.
The Malibu house is not Hilton’s main residence. The “Cooking with Paris” star owns multiple properties in the Los Angeles area.
The “Simple Life” star empathized with others going through similar realities, adding, “So many people have lost everything.”
“It’s not just walls and roofs — it’s the memories that made those houses homes. It’s the photos, the keepsakes, the irreplaceable pieces of our lives 😭,” she added.
Still, Hilton noted that she feels “incredibly lucky” that her “loved ones, my babies, and my pets are safe.”
“That’s the most important thing, and I’m holding onto that gratitude with everything I have. And beyond grateful to all the fire fighters, first responders and volunteers risking their lives to fight these fires,” she wrote.
“And to everyone going through this pain, please know you’re not alone. We’re in this together. We will rebuild, we will heal, and we will rise stronger than before,” she went on, reminding her 26.6 million followers on the platform to “hold your loved ones close.”
“Cherish the moments. Life can change in an instant, and it’s the love we share that truly matters. I’m sending all my love to everyone who is hurting right now 🥺🙏,” she added.
Hilton is one of the tens of thousands of celebrities who have been forced to flee their homes in Pacific Palisades and neighboring areas.
Five fires have ravaged Los Angeles County, taking over nearly 36,000 acres of land with zero containment in the Eaton and Kenneth Fires.
Firefighters have contained six percent of the Palisades fire, which started on Tuesday.
It’s believed that the blazes are being fueled by strong winds, “dry fuels” and low humidity.
At least 10 people have died, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
