Paris Jackson wants no part in the Michael Jackson biopic.
The late singer’s 27-year-old daughter recently clapped back at star Colman Domingo for claiming that she’s involved in the upcoming project.
“They’re very much in support of our film,” Domingo, 55, told People on Sunday at the Venice Film Festival about Michael’s children. “I’m excited to be here at amfAR tonight with Paris. It feels like that’s a nice way for us to be together.”
The “Euphoria” actor, who is playing late patriarch Joe Jackson in the 2026 biopic, added that he “chatted briefly” with Paris about the movie and she’s been “nothing but lovely and warm” to him.
But on Tuesday, Paris took to her Instagram Stories and refuted Domingo’s remarks about her participation in “Michael.”
Tagging Domingo, Paris wrote, “don’t be telling people I was ‘helpful’ on the set of a movie I had 0% involvement in lol that is so weird.”
She added in a second post, “I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my notes about what was dishonest / didn’t sit right with me, and when they didn’t address it, I moved on with my life. Not my monkeys, not my circus. God bless and God speed.”
The actress and singer then shared videos on her IG Stories doubling down on her issues with the biopic.
“I wasn’t involved at all, aside from giving feedback on the first draft and then getting the feedback that [production] was not actually going to address your notes at all,” she shared.
“They’re going to make whatever they’re going to make,” Paris continued.
“A big reason why I haven’t said anything up until this point is because I know a lot of you guys are gonna be happy with it. A big section of the film panders to a very specific section of my dad’s fandom that still lives in the fantasy, and they’re gonna be happy with it.”
Paris also called Hollywood biopics “fantasy land” and noted that “the narrative is being controlled and there’s a lot of inaccuracy” in those types of projects.
“At the end of the day, that doesn’t really fly with me,” she stated. “I don’t really like dishonesty. I spoke up. I wasn’t heard. I f—ed off. That’s it. Y’all are gonna like the f—ing movie. So just go watch it. Go enjoy it. Do whatever. Leave me out of it.”
In another video, Paris denied that she “hates” or “resents” her dad, who died at age 50 in 2009.
“That’s not my truth. That’s not where I’m coming from,” she said. “I just prefer honesty over sales and monetary gain. I kind of just don’t want anything to do with that.”
Paris also clarified that she only met Domingo twice, “once at a birthday party and once at the amfAR thing the other night,” and claimed “both were hella brief interactions.”
The Post has reached out to Domingo and Lionsgate, the studio making “Michael,” for comment.
The upcoming biopic is being directed by Antoine Fuqua and produced by Graham King, John Branca and John McClain. The latter two are co-executors of Jackson’s estate.
Jaafar Jackson, Michael’s nephew and Paris’ cousin, is starring in the movie as the late singer.
“I’m humbled and honored to bring my Uncle Michael’s story to life,” the 29-year-old wrote in an Instagram post when his casting was announced in Jan. 2023. “To all the fans all over the world, I’ll see you soon.”
The cast also includes Domingo as Joe Jackson, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, Miles Teller as Branca and Laura Harrier as Suzanne de Passe. Juliano Krue Valdi will play a younger version of Michael.
“Michael” will be released in theaters April 24, 2026.
