Is there a new power couple in Hollywood?
Pedro Pascal was asked about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston at the “The Last Of Us” Season 2 red carpet premiere Monday after their West Hollywood dinner date over the weekend.
An Access Hollywood reporter brought up the outing and asked Pascal, 49, if he was “trying to convince” Aniston, 56, to join his hit HBO series.
“Or I go on her show,” Pascal responded, referring to Aniston’s Apple TV+ drama “The Morning Show.”
“That wouldn’t be a terrible thing,” he added.
When asked if he’d go on “The Morning Show,” Pascal said, “I would do anything for Jennifer.”
The “Fantastic Four” actor further gushed about Aniston and said she’s a great friend in a time of “crisis.”
“She’s that person. She’s that person to everyone,” he said about the “Friends” alum. “It’s just that really. I guess the best way that I could describe it is I remember… if you’re in a party setting and you make eye contact with Jen, she just knows exactly what’s going on with you and knows exactly how to make you feel.”
“If you’re really high at a party, make eye contact with Jen Aniston and she’ll calm your central nervous system,” Pascal added with a laugh. “You’ll be like, ‘Oh no, everything’s fine. I’m safe.’ As soon as your brain starts to go a little too wild [and] you start to get paranoid, she’ll look at you, get you a glass of water and you’re fine.”
In his interview with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Pascal was similarly asked if there’s plans to have Aniston join “The Last Of Us.”
“Oh Jennifer and I are very good friends,” he said. “I got to have dinner on Saturday. It was a fun martini dinner.”
When the reporter joked that Pascal “can’t even get a martini without everyone talking about it,” he replied, “That’s her starlight. I’m just basking in it.”
Pascal and Aniston sparked dating rumors with a 3-hour dinner date at the Tower Bar in the Sunset Tower Hotel on Saturday.
The actors were pictured leaving the celeb hotspot and chatting near the valet area.
But a source later told Page Six, “There is no romance going on between Jennifer Aniston and Pedro Pascal. They respect each other as artists but it’s strictly platonic and they’re not dating.”
Last year, Pascal and Aniston shared a sweet moment together on the Critics Choice Awards red carpet.
When Pascal reached for Aniston’s hand at the event, she clutched it in both of hers and stared straight at the camera while mouthing, “Oh, my God.”
The “Game of Thrones” alum also said he’s down to join Aniston and Reese Witherspoon in their Apple TV+ show. “Pitch it to me now,” he said. “I’m in. I’ll be waiting to hear from my agents. Draw it up. Send me a script. Or just pitch it to me in the room.”
Pascal also joked about his possible “The Morning Show” role, “I sleep with everyone on the show. I’m in. All right, I’ll be waiting to hear from my agents.”
Pascal has always been private about his love life. He’s been romantically linked to Robin Tunney, Lena Headey and Maria Dizzia over the years.
Aniston, for her part, was previously married to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux.
