He’s the fairest of them all.
Pedro Pascal has weighed in on all the “Snow White” backlash that Rachel Zegler has received.
On “Sunday,” the “Last of Us” star, 49, posted a photo of Zegler, 23, on his Instagram Stories, tagging her and adding one simple word: “icon.”
Several fans on X, formerly Twitter, slammed the “Mandalorian” actor.
“Lol. Icon? No, how bout ‘fired,’ how bout ‘blacklisted,’ how bout failure, moron, imbecile. Call her what she is, not what your deluded Hollywood echo chamber wishes she was,” one person wrote.
Another person commented, “Pedro’s mouth is gonna tank the Fantastic Four,” referring to how Pascal will star in an upcoming reboot of the superhero franchise.
Not all the comments were negative, however, as another person posted, “Everyone who supports Rachel is an icon. She is on the right side of it all,” while another remarked, “Just when you thought Pedro Pascal couldn’t get any hotter.”
Zegler first sparked controversy in 2022, with comments she made about the original 1937 “Snow White” film.
“The original cartoon came out in 1937 and very evidently so,” she said in an interview with “Extra” at the 2022 D23 Expo.
“There’s a big focus on her love story with the guy who literally stalks her. Weird, weird,” she added of the animated film. “So we didn’t do that this time.”
She later said that starring in “Snow White” was “the honor of a lifetime.”
Zegler’s opinion of the original film wasn’t all she’s been slammed for.
Her criticism of Donald Trump supporters and her support for Palestine have drawn the ire from more conservative corners of the internet.
According to Variety’s report of the behind-the-scenes drama, “Snow White” production execs are blaming that for the movie’s poor showing at the box office.
“Snow White” was No. 1 during its debut weekend, but it grossed $87 million worldwide — a meager amount considering its $270 million budget.
Zegler’s views on the Israel-Hamas war also oppose those of her “Snow White” co-star, Israeli actress Gal Gadot, 39, who plays the Evil Queen.
In the Variety report, sources claimed that Gadot was bombarded with death threats after Zegler posted about the trailer for the flick, then wrote, “and always remember, free palestine.”
Per the outlet, Disney paid for additional security to protect the “Wonder Woman” star.
“She didn’t understand the repercussions of her actions as far as what that meant for the film, for Gal, for anyone,” an insider claimed of Zegler’s social media post.
Last week, the son of “Snow White” producer Marc Platt blasted Zegler as “immature” and “narcissistic” after it was revealed his father flew to New York to speak to her when she made political comments online.
Jonah Platt, 38, brother of actor Ben Platt, issued a scathing response to one negative commenter on his Instagram.
“Yeah, my dad, the producer of the enormous piece of Disney IP with hundreds of millions of dollars on the line, had to leave his family to fly across the country to reprimand his 20-year-old employee for dragging her personal politics into the middle of promoting the movie for which she signed a multi-million dollar contract to get paid and do publicity for,” Platt wrote on Instagram.
He added, “Free speech does not mean you’re allowed to say whatever you want in your private employment without repercussions…Narcissism is not something to be coddled or encouraged.”
Disney itself has also gotten backlash for “Snow White,” as it opted not to cast actors with dwarfism to play the Seven Dwarfs in the movie.
