Pete Davidson reveals how many tattoos out of 200 he’s removing

The King of Staten Island is looking to ditch his ink.

Pete Davidson got candid on the “horrible” process of removing tattoos while on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Thursday.

As for how many tats the comedian, 31, plans to keep?

“Maybe, like, two or three,” Davidson admitted despite “trying to clean slate it.”

The “Saturday Night Live” alum shared that he had “probably, like, 200” tattoos, most of which are “almost gone” now, as he rolled up his sleeves to show his bare arms.

“I’ve been burning them off,” continued Davidson, as he told host Jimmy Fallon that the process was “worse” than getting tattooed in the first place.

“They burn off a layer of your skin, then it has to heal for six to eight weeks,” he explained. “You can’t get in the sunlight. And then you’ve got to do it, like, 12 more times.”

Addressing the audience, Davidson urged viewers to “really think about that ‘Game of Thrones’ tattoo you’re thinking of getting.”

As for why the “Good Mourning” alum decided on all of that ink in the first place? As Davidson put it, “I was a sad boy. … It was a weird time.”

“I don’t know,” he added. “Everybody was getting tattoos, like, five years ago. Remember that?”

Although Davidson did not specify which tattoos he plans to keep, he has made waves for his portraits of Hillary Clinton and late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The “Wild ‘N Out” alum also received ink for past girlfriends, including Kim Kardashian, Cazzie David and Ariana Grande.

Davidson started his tattoo removal journey in 2021, sharing occasional glimpses into the process along the way.

During an appearance on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” at the time, he revealed the effect his tattoos have had on his acting career.

“For some reason, people in movies, they don’t have them that much,” Davidson confessed.

Also changing up the ink game? The “Bodies Bodies Bodies” alum’s best friend Machine Gun Kelly.

Last February, the rapper, 34 — whose real name is Colson Baker — debuted his extreme new look after covering up almost all of the tattoos on his chest and arms with pure black ink.

MGK went shirtless in a photo posted to Instagram, to show followers his normally colorful sleeve and chest tats filled in with black ink. Throughout his body there are a few stripes that still show his bare skin.

The “Taurus” actor captioned the snaps, “For spiritual purposes only.”

“Today marks the day that I start the physical change to my body. We’ll see what this turns out to be,” MGK said in an update to followers that April.

He continued to document the hours of intense needling — including pics of his bloody arm and a swollen elbow due to the constant attention.

“We’ve done about seven sessions,” he continued to the camera. “It’s been about two weeks since we started. This was the most painful s–t I’ve ever experienced in my life.”

“Wait, is that my belly button?” he asked the camera operator at one point during a close-up of his blacked-out navel. “Oh my god, look at my f–kin’ belly button!”

Speaking on getting all of his ink in the first place, MGK rapped at the time: “Wish I didn’t listen just like I wish they would understand me one time / I had a breakdown and tatted my entire body except one line / Everything’s just fine.”
