President Trump on Friday sported an unusual lapel pin next to his traditional American flag decoration — a cartoonish character of himself.
Trump has been spotted in the humorous pin at least once before. A reporter noticed the same accessory during a press briefing in February 2025.
“Somebody gave me this,” Trump said when asked about the lapel pin during a meeting with oil executives at the White House.
“You know what that is? That’s called a ‘Happy Trump,’” the president explained, as he tugged on his jacket to give the cameras a better view of the pin.
“And consider the fact that I’m never happy. I’m never satisfied. I will never be satisfied until we make America great again. But we’re getting pretty close,” Trump added.
The lighthearted moment went viral on social media, with some X users demanding to know, “Where can I get a happy Trump pin?”
