The prince of demands.
Prince Andrew has reportedly agreed to move out of Royal Lodge in Windsor after giving up his royal title, the Duke of York — but he wants two homes in return.
According to The Sun, Andrew, 65, demanded he get to move to Frogmore Cottage, where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle used to live before they were evicted in June 2023.
Andrew’s proposed deal also involves his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, relocating to Adelaide Cottage, which Prince William and Kate Middleton are about to move out of with their three children.
“Frogmore Cottage is too small for both and Adelaide Cottage is around the corner so they will see each other whenever they want,” a source told The Sun about the former couple.
“Both have space for their daughters Eugenie and Beatrice and their families to visit,” the insider added.
Andrew and Ferguson’s friend also told the outlet, “No one is really sure how it’s going to go down at the Palace yet.”
“Andy is willing to leave, but these are his demands,” the friend claimed.
The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace and Ferguson’s rep for comment.
Andrew has been living at the $38 million, 31-bedroom Royal Lodge since 2003. He’s had a tenancy agreement to live there through 2078. Ferguson has resided at Royal Lodge since 2008 despite the pair getting divorced.
Frogmore Cottage was Harry and Meghan’s royal residence, given to them by the late Queen Elizabeth. The Sussexes moved into the five-bedroom property in 2019 but were asked to vacate it in 2023 after they quit their jobs as senior working members of the royal family.
Andrew reportedly declined an offer to move into Frogmore Cottage last year, allegedly because it is considerably smaller than Royal Lodge.
Adelaide Cottage, meanwhile, will be vacant soon as William, 43, and Kate, 43, are gearing up to move about three miles away to the sprawling Forest Lodge home.
Forest Lodge, located near Windsor Great Park, features a total of eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, a tennis court and dates back to the 1770s — and boasts a cool $21 million price tag. The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are expected to live their even after William ascends to the throne.
Earlier this month, Andrew relinquished his royal titles after suffering a humiliating fall from grace due in part to his friendship with late convicted millionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
“In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Andrew said in a statement.
“I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life,” he added.
The brother of King Charles announced his decision as new excerpts from a posthumous memoir by Virginia Roberts Giuffre — who alleged she was trafficked by Epstein to have sex with Andrew when she was 17— were published.
Andrew has, however, denied sexually abusing Giuffre.
