Prince Harry has suffered a setback after a “crucial” Travalyst staffer quit just months after the departure of the eco-friendly firm’s first chairman earlier this year.
Sally Davey, who served as the chief executive, has handed in her resignation to the Duke of Sussex and is set to step down in December.
“This is a huge blow to Travalyst,” a source told the Daily Mail. “Sally has been crucial in its development.”
Davey, who has held the post for five years, says her decision to leave the firm was spurred on by her desire to spend more time with her loved ones.
“This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly,” she said in a statement. “After months of deep reflection, I’ve reached a point in my journey where I know I need to give more time back to my family, and to myself.”
“And to Prince Harry: thank you for your vision, belief, and encouragement,” she continued. “I will always be grateful for your support, including as my confidant and guide during this personal decision to step back.”
“I’m proud of what we’ve built together. And while I’ll be stepping down as CEO, I remain as committed as ever to Travalyst’s mission,” Davey added.
Her departure comes eight months after the company’s first chairman, India Gary-Martin, left her position after less than two years on the job.

Gary-Martin, who joined the company in 2023, became the 19th senior staffer working for Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, to hand in their resignation over the past five years.
Harry founded Travalyst Limited, a London-based nonprofit that partners with giant travel companies, such as Expedia and TripAdvisor, to promote more sustainable travel in 2019.
While Harry was the face of the project, it soon emerged that the duke was still taking private jet flights.
The revelation prompted him to speak out, insisting that “no one is perfect” and “we can all do better” when it comes to putting words into action.
“I came here by commercial. I spend 99%of my life traveling the world by commercial,” he said in 2019.
“Occasionally, there needs to be an opportunity based on a unique circumstance to ensure my family are safe, and it’s genuinely as simple as that.”
