Queens crooks post Instagram video showing them speeding in stolen subway train

A trio of thieves posted Instagram video showing them speeding away in a train they stole from a Queens subway yard, police said Monday.

The thrill seekers, all clad in black and wearing black masks, returned the R train to near where they swiped it, cops said. It wasn’t immediately clear how long of an illicit ride they took.

They swiped the parked train from the Jamaica train yard on Grand Central Parkway near Union Turnpike.in Forest Hills about 10:20 p.m. Sunday, cops said.

The R train was parked and secured on a layup track, a transit supervisor told police, but when transit workers returned the train was found nearby but not in the spot where it had been left. The doors were locked and it appears the suspects got in with train keys, police said.

They operated the train for an unknown amount of time and went an unknown distance before returning it, police said.

The suspects also used black magic markers to cover the lens on surveillance cameras. But they were brazen enough to post on Instagram video that shows them operating the train at a high rate of speed, police said.

The suspects are still being sought.
