GOP Rep. Nancy Mace is blasting supermodel Bella Hadid as “disgusting” for sharing an old photo of herself promoting a map that portrays all of the land in Israel as Palestine.
The photo appears to have been taken during Hadid’s 2022 visit to the Qatar National Library, an event in which the 28-year-old nepo-baby cat-walker posed with the map, titled “Western Palestine.”
“Bella Hadid is a disgusting human being,” Mace, a staunch Israel supporter, (R-SC) sniped Sunday on X with a screenshot of the supermodel’s post.
It’s unclear when Hadid posted the photo, which appeared to be featured in an Instagram story on her account that has since disappeared.
A Facebook post from the Qatar National Library detailed the supermodel’s visit in 2022 and showed her posing with the map.
“We were delighted to welcome Palestinian-Dutch supermodel Bella Hadid to the Library where she was acquainted with the historical items in our Heritage Library that showcase the significant history of Palestine,” the library wrote on Facebook at the time.
After the Palestinian terror group Hamas slaughtered hundreds of innocent Israelis in a sneak assault Oct. 7, 2023, Hadid voiced her condolences to the victims and underscored that her “hopes and dreams for Palestinians” do not “include the harm of a Jewish person.
“My thoughts are with all those affected by this unjustifiable tragedy, and every day that innocent lives are taken by this conflict – too many of which are children,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
She has since been a vocal backer of Palestinian protesters over the ensuing Gaza war and a critic of Israel.
Hadid has had to weather flack from anti-Israel agitators over her participation in Victoria’s Secret fashion that had ties to Israel. Hadid has declared that she’s “not afraid to lose modeling jobs” because of her stance on the issue.
Hadid and her older model sister Gigi are the daughters of a Palestinian real-estate developer and a Dutch ex-model.
Her father, Mohamed Hadid, a luxury land developer, had launched a series of unhinged tirades against Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY), who has been a staunch defender of Israel in Congress.
The elder Hadid called Torres “worse than the rats of New York sewage system” and told him to “dress as KKK to hide that ugly gray colored face” in comments reported by The Post.
Mohamed Hadid eventually issued a back-handed apology to Torres, who rejected it as “fraudulent.”
Bella and Gigi have both donated more than $1 million to support the Palestinians in the midst of the war between Hamas and Israel.
Mace has been a stalwart backer of Israel in Congress who has criticized anti-Israel protesters, including on college campuses across the country.
A representative for Hadid did not respond to a Post request for comment.
