Rosie O’Donnell is embracing the new her.
The comedian, 63, showed off her dramatic weight loss from Mounjaro in an Instagram photo shared on Friday.
O’Donnell wore a green shirt and held a microphone while onstage in the image.
“i cant believe this is me now #mounjaro #weightloss #bodydismorphia,” she captioned the post.
O’Donnell confirmed in January 2023 that she lost 10 pounds from taking Mounjaro, which is an FDA-approved prescription medication for people with type 2 diabetes that can also aid in losing weight.
“Christmas I stopped drinking anything except water,” she shared in a TikTok at the time. “I have had champagne one night that was a toast and I had wine one night, so it hasn’t been 100 percent.
“But I really stopped drinking like five or six Diet Cokes a day,” O’Donnell continued. “All I drink is water now. And I’m not eating sugar as much as I can.”
In March, O’Donnell told her followers that she “lost more weight” after moving to Ireland with her 12-year-old child, Clay, following President Donald Trump’s reelection.
“I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight,” she said in another TikTok. “But it’s also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don’t have a chef now. It’s me cooking for Clay and me.”
O’Donnell added, “I’m one of those people who always had a weight issue and now that I’m a size large — instead of an XL or a XXL — I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking.”
The former “The View” co-host also said that she feels “healthier” and has been “sleeping better.”
O’Donnell fled the US for Ireland earlier this year.
“I know myself enough to know that this was something I needed to do for the safety and sanity of myself and my non-binary child,” she told Us Weekly last month.
“We chose Ireland and didn’t really know where to go,” she added.
In a March TikTok, O’Donnell admitted that misses her friends and family who still live in America.
“I miss many things about life there at home and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back,” she shared.
