Ryan Seacrest and Rita Ora are ready to ring in the new year.
The pair are co-hosting “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” together for the third consecutive year on Wednesday night, and they opened up about the experience during a chat with People ahead of the annual ball drop event.
However, Seacrest and Ora also revealed some of the interesting ways attendees prepare for the cold weather and long Times Square lines – including wearing adult diapers so they don’t need to worry about finding a bathroom.
“They do things you don’t want to see them do because they’re there for that long,” the “Wheel of Fortune” host, 51, told the outlet. “I’m happy I’ve not seen them do those things.”
“I hear the diaper stories,” Ora, 35, chimed in.
But while Seacrest acknowledged that he’s also heard such stories, he clarified that he’s never witnessed it in person.
“That’s what I’m talking about,” he said. “I’ve not seen it. I just know it’s happening.”
Orlando Mendez, a 38-year-old Bronx resident who peddles adult diapers to New Year’s Eve revelers visiting Times Square for the iconic ball drop, revealed that he sells the absorbent undergarments for $50 a piece.
“It’s funny til it’s not,” Mendez told The Post. “Desperation sets the price. There are no bathrooms in there at all. Once [people] are in, they can’t come back out. This is a real problem.”
Other experienced revelers, meanwhile, are already prepared.
“Surprisingly, a lot of people are already wearing diapers,” he shared. “The early birds and the die-hards know the game.”
This year’s eight-hour “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” broadcast on ABC is set to feature live performances from Diana Ross, Ciara, Little Big Town, Maren Morris and Le Sserafim.
Seacrest and Ora, who first co-hosted the event together in 2023, said that they are looking forward to reuniting for the third year in a row.
“We have the same sense of humor,” the “Anywhere” singer shared. “I’m so happy to be working on this.”
“We really have a good time together,” Seacrest agreed.
The pair made headlines last New Year’s Eve when they joked about “kissing” Ora’s husband, director Taika Waititi, as the clock struck midnight.
“Should we both make out with him?” the British singer asked her co-host last Dec. 31, as Seacrest responded, “No – not make out! You can do that.”
As for their plans for the new year, both Ora and Seacrest expect to return to their respective roles on TV and beyond.
“I just have TV in my lane,” the “American Idol” and “Wheel of Fortune” emcee said. “She does everything else.”
“I love working,” Ora, who will judge the next season of “The Masked Singer,” added. “Get ready, America, because I’m your favorite Brit!”
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” will air live on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
