Property entrepreneur Samuel Leeds has announced that he and his family have successfully received residency in Dubai, marking a new chapter in their international lifestyle and business growth.
Leeds, who owns a $23.5 million property portfolio, will now divide his time between the United Kingdom, Dubai and Zimbabwe, describing himself as a “global citizen” with homes and businesses across continents.
“I’ve not left the U.K., I’ve expanded beyond it,” Leeds says. “I still own my family mansion in Buckinghamshire, I have our home in Zimbabwe where we spend a lot of time, and now I’ve established residency in Dubai. My businesses will continue to thrive in the U.K. while I build new opportunities here in the Middle East.”
Freedom through global living
Leeds’ move follows his long-term goal of creating financial and personal freedom through property and entrepreneurship. His four children are homeschooled, which allows the family to travel freely among their homes.
“This is real freedom,” Leeds explains. “We can live, learn and work anywhere in the world. My children learn through experience, through culture, through travel. We’ve built our life around flexibility and adventure.”
Leeds’ new home is a six-bedroom beachfront property on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah, a location featured in his latest documentary “I’m Moving My Family to Dubai.” The film captures the process of relocating, viewing homes and setting up a business in the United Arab Emirates.
A strategic business move
While the warm weather and lifestyle are part of the attraction, Leeds says his decision to establish a base in Dubai is primarily strategic. The city’s growing community of wealthy investors presents major opportunities for his U.K.-based property ventures.
“There are a lot of high-net-worth individuals in Dubai who are looking to invest in UK property,” Leeds explains. “I can help connect them with projects through my academy members and with deals through Samuel Leeds Finance. It’s a natural fit that benefits everyone.”
The Samuel Leeds Academy already supports thousands of property entrepreneurs across Britain. Many graduates now have access to Leeds’ network of international investors, expanding the potential for global collaboration.
Security and diversification
Beyond business growth, Leeds believes his decision to establish multiple residences and companies worldwide is also about financial protection and resilience.
“In today’s world, it makes sense to have multiple bank accounts, business entities and residences around the world,” he says. “It’s about protecting your assets and ensuring that you’re never vulnerable to one system or one country. If something changes in one market, you can continue thriving elsewhere.”
Continuing commitment to the U.K.
Leeds is quick to clarify that his move does not mean leaving behind his British businesses or community.
“I’m not abandoning the U.K.,” he insists. “My academy, my hotels and my portfolio remain fully operational. I’ll be back and forth regularly. What I’m doing is expanding my reach so that I can bring more opportunities back to the U.K. too.”
Through his ventures, Leeds continues to mentor new property investors and fund projects directly through Samuel Leeds Finance. His recent Survation study found that 86% of his academy graduates completed a property deal within their first year, and 95% said they would recommend the program to a friend.
The bigger vision
Leeds also continues his charitable work abroad, including the construction of a 64-bed hospital ward in Uganda, funded through his foundation. He believes that being based in multiple regions allows him to contribute more effectively to both business and humanitarian causes.
“Dubai is not the end goal, it’s part of a global journey,” he says. “I want to keep building businesses, helping others succeed, and giving back along the way. The more freedom I create for myself, the more I can help others find theirs.”
As he settles into his new life on the Palm, Leeds says the move feels both exciting and purposeful.
“This isn’t about escaping,” he says. “It’s about expanding. The U.K. is my home, Dubai is my base, Zimbabwe is my heart, and the world is my playground. I’m living proof that you can build a global life if you’re bold enough to make it happen.”
