Sex Pistols announce US tour with Frank Carter. Get tickets now

It’s finally time to “Never Mind The Bollocks” again.

After a 22-year hiatus from touring in North America, The Sex Pistols announced they’re hitting theaters and ballrooms all over the U.S. and Canada on their fall 2025 tour.

As of now, no New York concert has officially been set, although the punk icons shared that they’d be playing in Brooklyn on Sept. 27.

On this run, the Rock Hall of Famers will be fronted by former Gallows frontman Frank Carter. Original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock round out the lineup.

“I think everybody needs this band right now. I think the world needs this band right now,” Carter, 40, told the Associated Press. “And I think definitely America is screaming out for a band like the Sex Pistols.”

“We’re a bit older but we play just as well, if not better,” Matlock said.

At all gigs on the 15-concert run, the “God Save The Queen” rockers will perform their sole album, 1977’s seminal “Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols” in its entirety. Based on our findings at Set List FM, they’ve also played a handful of other tracks at their recent overseas live shows like Stooges and Claude Francois covers.

Prior to the North American leg of the trek, the quarter is slated to make a trio of festival stops overseas alongside big names like Sting, Green Day, Sleep Token and more.

Fans The Bromley Contingent can purchase tickets for all upcoming Sex Pistols shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Friday, April 4.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

“Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols” track list

While the Sex Pistols are teasing new music — “It’s early days,” Jones said. “Let’s see what happens” — it’s guaranteed they’ll be playing their anthemic, anarchic 1977 record on the road this year.

If it’s been a while since you’ve checked in, here are all the songs on the album:

  1. “Holidays in the Sun”
  2. “Liar”
  3. “No Feelings”
  4. “God Save the Queen”
  5. “Problems”
  6. “Seventeen”
  7. “Anarchy in the U.K.”
  8. “Bodies”
  9. “Pretty Vacant”
  10. “New York”
  11. “E.M.I.”

Sex Pistols band members

As noted above, four Sex Pistols will be taking the stage at all North American shows in September and October. Here’s a bit about each of them including what they play and the years they’ve been with the band.

Frank Turner (lead vocals) 2024-present

Original lead singer John Lydon — aka Johnny Rotten — will be sitting out this run. He’s squabbled with his former bandmates over rights to use their music in the FX miniseries ‘Pistol.’ In any event, his group Public Image Ltd. has a few shows lined up in Great Britain this spring and summer.

“Live in the U.S.A.” album release

To commemorate the tour, Sex Pistols are releasing three “Live in the U.S.A.” vinyl albums from their 1978 run in the States. Each record will showcase one of the group’s gigs from way back when in Atlanta, Dallas and San Francisco. The San Fran concert is famous for being the show where the band decided to hang it up.

“We were thinking of breaking up in San Francisco again,” Jones quipped about the upcoming jaunt.

If you’d like to listen to the particularly hostile Dallas concert, it can be snagged here as of today.

The three-disc set will be released April 25.
