The Osbourne family is in mourning again.
Three months after her husband Ozzy Osbourne’s death, Sharon Osbourne announced the loss of her dog, Elvis, in a heartbreaking Instagram post on Sunday.
“I can’t believe I am posting this but my darling Elvis passed away this week,” Sharon, 73, wrote. “He gave me 14 precious year. He was by my side until the end. Rest in peace my darling boy! 💔.”
Sharon shared four pictures of her late Siberian husky, including two snapshots that featured Ozzy.
In the final photo, Elvis laid on Ozzy’s chest as the duo sweetly lounged together on the couch.
Fans offered Sharon their condolences in the comments section.
“May Ozzy watch over him till y’all meet again ❤️,” one fan wrote.
“Sorry to hear this Sharon, – love to you ❤️ he’s up with Ozzy ❤️,” another fan said.
“Oh gosh @sharonosbourne I am so sorry to hear this. He is with Ozzy and you will see them again someday. In the meantime they are watching over you,” a third person wrote.
“Now Elvis has gone to his dad Ozzy to take care of him,” a different fan added.
Last year, the Osbournes also suffered the loss of Ozzy’s 15-year-old Pomeranian, Rocky.
“Two days ago I lost my good friend Rocky who has been at my side for 15 years. I’ll see you on the other side my friend. I love you always,” the musician wrote on Instagram at the time in a tribute to his dog.
Ozzy tragically passed away at age 76 on July 22. His cause of death was later determined to be from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease.
Sharon and her children Jack, Kelly and Aimee mourned Ozzy with the public at a funeral procession held in Ozzy’s home city of Birmingham, England, on July 30.
The former “America’s Got Talent” judge wore Ozzy’s wedding ring on a chain around her neck at the procession.
One day later, Ozzy was laid to rest one during a private ceremony next to the lake of his Buckinghamshire home.
Ozzy and Sharon had been married for 43 years before his death, having tied the knot on July 4, 1982.
Sharon broke her silence after her husband’s death in an emotional Instagram post shared on Sept. 12, thanking fans for “the overwhelming love and support” they showed her and her family.
“Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know,” she said. “None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights.”
