A Long Island vandal has been charged with being a social media prankster after several online posts highlighting his menacing antics at businesses and private homes, police said Tuesday.
Kyle Vazquez, 21, of Coram in Suffolk County, was charged with dissemination of an unlawful surveillance image, unlawful surveillance and criminal tampering after cops say he dumped a large container of eggs on his head outside Ralph’s Italian Ices in Centereach in April and posted video of the prank online.
He allegedly then drove off and left a mess of eggs and cracked shells by the entranceway and front door of the sweets shop.
A day later, according to cops, a shirtless Vazquez went to a nearby Chinese restaurant, where he walked inside and poured a bucket of beans on his head. Cops said he didn’t clean up there either and posted the beans to a social media site too.
Cops said Vazquez also took his hijinks operation into several private homes.
Last month, at three separate residences, two in Centereach and one in Selden, he requested to use the bathroom and then filmed the residents and the inside of their homes without their knowledge or consent while creating a disturbance, cops said.
Vazquez was arrested Monday at the home of a friend, officials said.
