Sombr Late Nights and Young Romance Tour 2025: Where to buy tickets

Sombr fans are anything but somber at the moment.

On Friday, Aug. 22, the indie rocker (whose real name is Shane Michael Boose) released his debut album “I Barely Know Her,” performed the hit single “back to friends” live on NYC’s Canal Street and received rave reviews for the record from music’s biggest tastemakers.

Rolling Stone gushed “Sombr’s debut album has everything pop has been missing.” Variety added “he sounds like he’s stepped out of the bedroom and onto the big stage, bursting with ideas and equipped with the skills to see them through.”

Starting Sept. 22, the 20-year-old New York native — and La Guardia High School dropout — will launch the North American leg of his ‘Late Nights and Young Romance Tour’ that will send him and special guest Devon Gabriella to theaters and music halls all over the U.S. and Canada.

That includes not one, not two, not three but four (!) New York stops.

First up, the “undressed” singer hits NYC’s Gramercy Tavern on Thursday, Oct. 9 and Friday, Oct. 10.

A little less than a month later, Sombr will return to the Big Apple for a pair of gigs at Brooklyn Steel on Wednesday, Nov. 5 and Thursday, Nov. 6.

If you’d like to see him strut his stuff live, tickets are available for all upcoming concerts.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one North American show was $201 including fees on Vivid Seats.

Other U.S. and Canada concerts have tickets starting anywhere from $203 to $706 including fees.

Although we don’t know what his headlining tour will look like just yet, Set List FM reports that he took 11 songs to the stage in Paris on June 23. “undressed,” “caroline” and ‘back to friends’ were a few of the notable tracks to make the cut.

Sombr new music

As noted above, Sombr dropped his debut album “I Hardly Know Her” on Aug. 22.

The exquisitely-crafted breakup record somehow reads as both polished and raw; against all odds, Sombr has seemingly effortlessly married pop and garage rock. If you can’t tell, we’re fans. This is a young artist punching way above his weight class.

Standouts here include the groovy opening track “crushing,” disco dream “12 to 12,” and vulnerable breakout single “back to friends.”

Stick around until the bitter end of the album’s 38-minute runtime, too. The closer “under the mat” is a moody, Beach Boys meets The Strokes bop with doo-wop and Queen flourishes thrown in.

To hear for yourself, you can find “I Hardly Know Her” in its entirety here.

Sombr special guest

At all North American shows, Sombr will be joined by Devon Gabriella.

The sensitive yet propulsive singer-songwriter is known for songs like “Older,” “How Could You” and “Afraid of Heights,” which run the gamut from pop to folk to lite country under her breathy, powerful vocals.
