Sombr just “Crossed Our Mind.”
Fresh off an electric performance at Coachella, the rapidly-rising rocker just announced he’s striking out on his ‘You Are The Reason Tour’ this fall.
The international run will send the 20-year-old NYC native — whose real name is Shane Michael Boose — to arenas all over North America from September through November.
That includes not one, not two, not three but four (!) New York and New Jersey stops. They’re slated to go down at:
Keybank Center
Buffalo, NY
Saturday, Nov. 14
Prudential Center
Newark, NJ
Saturday, Nov. 21
Madison Square Garden
New York, NY
Monday, Nov. 23
Madison Square Garden
New York, NY
Tuesday, Nov. 24
“I’m beyond thrilled to see your faces,” Sombr shared via Instagram. “This will be a very special show. Love you so much! I’ll see you soon.”
He won’t be going it alone either.
Boose will be joined by special guests Interpol, The Last Dinner Party, Tom Odell, King Princess, Balu Brigada and others on select dates.
As noted above, Sombr recently headlined Coachella. According to Set List FM, he busted out his biggest hits “back to friends,” “12 to 12,” “undressed,” “we never dated” and “Homewrecker” from his 2025 debut album “I Barely Know Her.”
Other notable highlights included the debut of his forthcoming single “potential” and a cover of The Smashing Pumpkins‘ “1979” with frontman Billy Corgan.
“…it felt like a fully realized moment to watch the 20-year-old emerge like a new prototype for the modern rock star, with one toe dipped in the pop world and another drawing from alt-rock convention,” Variety reported in a review of his short onstage stint. His hits — now amounting to many — rang like a bell through the teeming audience at the Outdoor Stage, prompting singalongs to tracks like ’12 to 12′ and ‘Undressed,’ as well as the Smashing Pumpkin’s classic ‘1979,’ which saw him joined by Billy Corgan. Sombr himself looked like he couldn’t believe that he finally got to this point, one where he could tangibly, and perhaps in disbelief, see that he made it.”
Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 17 at 10 am local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats.

Sombr new music
Sombr dropped his debut album “I Hardly Know Her” on Aug. 22.
The exquisitely-crafted breakup record somehow reads as both polished and raw; against all odds, Sombr has seemingly effortlessly married pop and garage rock. If you can’t tell, we’re fans. This is a young artist punching way above his weight class.
Standouts here include the groovy opening track “crushing,” disco dream “12 to 12,” and vulnerable breakout single “back to friends.”
Stick around until the bitter end of the album’s 38-minute runtime, too. The closer “under the mat” is a moody, Beach Boys meets The Strokes bop with doo-wop and Queen flourishes thrown in.
To hear for yourself, you can find “I Hardly Know Her” in its entirety here.
The new single “Potential” will be released on April 17.
