Subway conductor beaten, robbed of train keys in Brooklyn



A subway conductor was beaten and robbed of her train keys while on the job in Brooklyn, cops announced on Monday.

The victim, a 31-year-old woman, was leaning out of a train car on the southbound A and C trains platform at the Hoyt St.-Schermerhorn St. station in Downtown Brooklyn when the thief attacked around 2:47 p.m. Sunday, cops said.

The crook punched the victim, took her train keys and then fled the station, said police.

The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital for treatment, cops said.

Police are looking for a heavyset man in his early 20s, last seen wearing a surgical mask and a black hoodie, and carrying shopping bags.
