Suspect in rape of girl, 14, in Manhattan’s Stuyvesant Town arrested upstate


The ex-con wanted for raping a 14-year-old girl in Stuyvesant Town has been busted, police sources said.

Germaine Parham, 33, was nabbed upstate on Tuesday, sources said.

He is expected to be charged with rape in connection with an attack that happened last Thursday inside a building near First Ave. and First Avenue Loop in Stuyvesant Town, a private, non-doorman complex that runs east of First Ave. from E. 14th St. to E. 20th St.

He then took the girl’s phone before running off, police said.

Parham, whose mugshot was subsequently released to the media, has 32 prior arrests since 2008, including multiple felony charges for robbery and grand larceny, police said.
